The Kokerboom Biological Research Station is up and running – the brainchild of Paul Moler and Johan Marais, it is an 860 hectare farm close to Springbok in Namaqualand that has been registered as a non-profit company.
KBRS has been established to provide affordable and secure accommodation to natural history students both local and abroad, especially those studying reptiles. We are in need of funding and various basics like beds & bedding, crockery & cutlery, furniture, farm tools, scientific equipment, a farm bakkie and much more. KBRS has been registered under section 18A and all donations to the organisation are tax deductible.
